seniors farewell was fun, very fun.

almost everyone turned up, yay. the amazing race was quite successful i think, kudos to all the planners and station masters and of coz the participating seniors:)

the place we had our farewell was great, the food was good i think(coz i cant eat ah), and the atmosphere was great i think. everyone had fun!

the highlight was of coz the dunking of ppl. dylan donghui jason hunquan got dunked. some other seniors were dunk into the pool as well. but we got chased away coz we were too noisy. so we went back and had water bombs outside the function room. i think weijie tio the most haha. water bombs are da bomb! lol.

watched 2012 on tues with kris and jw. the movie was nice but draggy, i was secretly hoping that the protagonist will die haha. and i tot the ships they were building are lyk spaceships, in the end just some extra hard ship designed to withstand the wave.

i've waited 1 year for The Lost Symbol to come out. dan brown's new book. but to my disappointment, the publisher decided to practice price discrimination by pricing the book at 48bucks. wth. so why is this price discrimination? 

firstly, lets classify the readers into two categories: the die hard fan and normal readers like me. for the fans, since they have waited so long, they are willing to pay more than 50 bucks to buy the book. however readers lyk me only price the book at only 20 bucks. so if the publisher had decided to sell it at 30 bucks, readers like me wont buy it and they will lose 20 bucks per fan who buys it. since a firm's aim is to profit maximise, they price discriminate by selling at 48 bucks, thus maximising producer's welfare. there is consumer's welfare of 2 bucks. after a few months, the publisher will lower the price to twenty bucks so as to capture the rest of the market to maximise total revenue by selling at 20 bucks. the publisher can be said to be either a monopoly or oligopoly, thus it can practice price discrimination.

went out yesterday with my bunch of best friends, chiam dan wenxuan gay and alvin. funnnnnnn. haha when we were discussing about cts results we realised yk's one is lyk U B CDD, LOL. inside joke hahaahahahahaha. so we went cine to watch YEAR ONE, a comedy which is quite funnaye and sick. although the overall storyline abit lame, the movie was still quite nice haha. oh the movie was screened in a  76 seater theatre, damn small lol. first time watch movie at lvl 9 haha. so after the movie we went taka for lunch coz everyone dun wanna spend so much money, lol. after lunch wx left and we went to walk around ion. got lost in ion and we had a hard time locating pull and bear. oh the bag cdd wanna buy quite nice, if im bigger size i will buy too, lol.

woke up early in the morning for a run today.

met cdd at yck @ 9am and we deposited our bags at the stadium and we set off. planned to run from yck stadium to yishun stadium and back again. haha but in the end we ran there and ran back to the condo @lentor coz daryl chaim gave up as he was dying and he needed to use the toilet-.- haha so we ran lyk 6-8 km only. quite fun lol. saw a dead squashed rat on the way, disgusting ttm.

after running we went to shower at the stadium and when amk to watch gi joe. haha abit lag. but the movie was damn nice i think, dunno why it was rated 1.5 stars only hahah. cant wait for the next one.

yesterday was the MAYDAY DNA concert.

two words: DAMN NICE!

reached kallang at 6.35, met wx and we both lol coz we were wearing the same thing, brown converse grey jeans dark tee and black backpack, LOL. okay so we queued up for the tee. all the nice one sold out, DAMN SAD:((((((((((((((((((((((((((( its lyk 35 only, wanted to buy one la, my bear shirt:( no hello kitty also:( okay so helped vanessa buy a tee and DNA folders. it was still quite early so we decided to walk at the leisure park where wx was supposed to fall for his ec. haahahaaha. made our way there at 730 and waited till 830 before lights out and ppl started screaming and them blasting the music.

the concert got a storyline. it started off with quite a long video, part of which is shown in the DNA MV. the effects were awesome. totally speechless kind. so when the video ended the band finally appear and sang a few damn high songs. i didnt know quite a few songs coz they started 10 years ago and i only started to listen to them 4 years ago, haha.

they sang alot of damn nice songs, 倔强，温柔，拥抱，春天的呐喊，如烟，你不是真正的快乐，突然好想你，孙悟空，出头天，笑忘歌，最重要的小事，天使, 生存以上 生活以下, 我心中尚未崩坏的地方, 夜访吸血鬼, etcetc. and of coz, 恋爱ing! the crowd was damn high whenever there is guitar solo, bass solo, etcetc, esp when they walk down the stage towards the audience. sang from 830- 1215, 110bucks was definitely worth it!

saw quite a few teachers, talked to 6 and 5 said nj very liberal very lax etcetc because my hair is damn long(compared to the rest), lol. steven quay was the best, saw me and went 'can u see me anot? nj nvr sell skrit meh? why u not wearing skirt?' LOL i win.

initially, i sent him i love u, and he immediately know its fake already. so i abit sian diao. but he thought that i sent the sms using his phone to himself(total failure of logic) and just deleted the sms. me joshua and marcus um chio. hahaha. so i continued the second part of the prank.

after he got his phone back, i sent him another sms during pw lecture: 'hey do u wanna study after school?:)' he was so damn happy. his reply: 'Uh...i got training eh...omg...:(i want 2 go leh so rare u initiate...whr r u now...'

i told him "I" was at the library.

so he went all the way from the canteen to the library just to find her, only to find out that she wasnt there at all. realising that he might get damn angry, i told him it was a early april day fool joke, but he still didnt get it, LOL. until he got back then he know the whole plot, HAHAHAHAHAH.

we lost 4-10 to rj. i was mentally prepared to lose before the match, but after dylan's first blood, our morale became damn high and we all gave our best to win it. first 2 periods were quite good, scored 4 goals. dylan scored 2, nice. bryan and me scored 1 each. but we were damn shagged after the second period:( oh we were only told before the match that we had to play 4 periods. wts, FOUR instead of the normal three. i heard a few j2s played for rj:/ our line screwed up in defense, sian. let in alot of goals:( line 3 defense is good, let in quite little. kian ann yijun warren and hunquan ran damn fast, all ran damn fast to help out in defending after losing the ball. if we had played three periods only, the goal margin wont be that big, 7-4. but this was our first match, and i think we did quite well although we lost, well done team.

How to Get Rid of Black Circles Under Your Eyes


1. Schedule a blood test with your physician. Establish whether or not this condition runs in your family. Dark circles are believed to frequently be hereditary. This doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything about the conditions, but you should be prepared for minimal success actually trying to get rid of them. Dark circles under the eye may also, in fact, be light carbon deposits that result from incomplete protein digestion. Incomplete protein digestion may result from insufficient hydrochloric acid in your stomach that may be caused from a lack of primarily B6 and Folic Acid. About 30% of the population does not absorb regular B6 (pydroxine) or folic acid and need to take in these vitamins in a different form or another way.

2. Identify allergens. Allergies may be the most common cause of skin discoloration under the eyes. If allergies are the root of your problem, you simply need to treat them or remove the allergen (i.e., the thing to which you are allergic). Seasonal allergy problems such as the hay fever can frequently be effectively treated with over-the-counter and prescription medications. For other allergies the best course of action is usually avoidance. If your dark circles or puffiness are constant, you may have an undetected food allergy or an allergy to a chemical in your home or workplace. Talk to a dermatologist for help determining what you may be allergic to. People with allergies also tend again to be deficient in B6, folic acid and B12 on occasion. Taking a multivitamin, if you don't already, may help with your allergies as well as black circles.

3. Get plenty of sleep nightly. It’s not entirely clear why inadequate sleep results in dark circles under the eyes, but we’ve all seen it happen either to ourselves or someone we know. For one thing, lack of sleep tends to cause the skin to become paler (thus increasing the appearance of darkness under the eyes), and it reduces circulation. It’s also believed that too little time lying down is a cause in itself. Determine how much sleep you need (it’s usually 7-9 hours per night, but varies throughout different people) and try to get that amount regularly for a couple of weeks to see if that helps. Remember that alcohol and drugs can adversely affect the quality of your sleep; abstain from these products or use only in moderation for best results. A lack of sleep, coupled with poor vitamin absorption also tends to reduce adrenal function. The less adrenal function you have the less B6 you tend to absorb, the less B6 you absorb, the less well your adrenal glands work and alas you end up in a vicious circle. Sleep, regular vitamins for those that need them, and good calcium/magnesium support in the form of milk or good mineral supplement restores adrenal function. So if you want to break the cycle and the black circles under your eyes, you've got to reduce your stress, sleep more and take the proper vitamins and minerals to support the adrenal function in general.

4. Treat your skin while you sleep. There are overnight facial masques available that may help reduce the appearance of puffiness or discoloration, but you can also make your own. Just before you go to bed, take a washcloth and wet it just a bit with cold water. Then squeeze out any excess water and place it over your eyes as you sleep. Treating your skin may help, but the real problem may also be that you have a poor vitamin and mineral absorption problem that must also be corrected. Seeing a naturopathic physician may help for those people who suffer other ailments such as miscellaneous aches and pains that come and go and a general run down feeling.

5. Apply cool tea bags, an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth, or cucumber slices to your eyes daily. The tannin in tea bags has been shown to reduce swelling and discoloration, and cucumber slices have long been used to reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes. Lie down, preferably in the morning, and leave fresh cucumber slices or cool, damp caffeinated tea bags (you can refrigerate them overnight so they’ll be ready) over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.

Maybe i shall try this after i finish my tea-c in the morning.

6. Try to relax the space. You can do this by wetting a cotton swab and then freezing it for a little while. Then you should gently wipe under your eyes in the areas where the circles are occurring. When wiping, close your eyes and try not to flinch.

7. Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K. Regardless of the cause, however, recent research has shown that skin creams containing these two ingredients reduce puffiness and discoloration significantly in many patients. Long-term daily use seems to have the greatest effect.

8. Reduce salt intake. Excess salt causes the body to retain water in unusual places, and this can result in puffiness under the eyes. Too much salt can also impair your circulation, and cause the blood vessels under the skin to appear bluer.

9. Quit smoking. Smoking causes vascular (blood vessel) problems that can not only threaten your life, but also make your blood vessels appear more prominent and bluer beneath the skin.

10. Cover the problem up with cosmetics. If all else fails, use a yellow or peach-toned concealer which will camouflage the problem under your eyes. The yellow/peach undertones in the makeup will help cancel out the purple, blue, and brownish colors of your undereye circles. Pink-toned concealers can actually make your circles more noticeable. After applying, set the concealer with a light dusting of translucent powder.

today morning pt. somehow i feel that intervals are more tiring haha.

after sch we went buddy hoagies to eat, me marcus shaunice and joshua, aka the cats. after eating we went macs to buy happy meal so as to get the toy for ht. thanks for the treat turtle, haha. the ny gals on the bus kept laughing at us coz we were holding the happy meal and shaunice was holding the hello kitty toy.

oh many things happened yesterday morning.

marucs yong chen ming the idiot found a spoilt red pen ink and a few rubber bands, thus he decided to shoot shaunice with it. the pen ink flew and the red ink came flying out also, so shaunice uniform was stained with red ink. sensing everything has gone wrong, marcus hid behind me while crying for help. he didnt realise his hand was also stained in red and thus i also tio the red ink, arghh.

yesterday was me leow last day in nj, so he requested to come in to talk to us at the end of sun's tutorial. so he started talking and sun started interrupting him. WTF. not once but alot of times, wtf farewell speech and u keep interrupting, sun u better watch out. and the stuff she said were kinda disgusting and turned off. shit her!

after the movie we went to pastamania and had this really looooonnnnggggg and hilarious argument over a 12-inch margherita (spelling?) pizza. calculators, vulgarities and laughter were heavily involved. following that we went concorde hotel to play pool and write on daniel's birthday card which i PAINSTAKINGLY designed. then we made our way home.

court training today. workshop at republic poly. THE COURT IS FREAKING NICE CAN, standard size, good floor, air-condition. 3 hours of floorball clinic, but personally i think i nvr learn much:/ only a few drills which we can use next time. had lunch with team before tt. both guys and the gals team.

met up with andrew josiah marcus jerrell and warren on monday. long time no see andrew and josiah. haha ate at swensen. they take damn damn long to process your order, must wait 15mins before ur food comes one-.- andrew left and we went library, then to jerrell's house. played restaurant city and lvl up all my dishes, nice.

went to watch Drag Me To Hell today at hub with daniel and daryl. the movie was damn nice can. a must watch seriously, better to have a gal beside u lol. okay lucky i got jacket so can cover myself and feel more secure, not lyk poor cdd who was shaking in horror:P mos for lunch, then studied for a little while. cant concentrate haha. went to wx's house in the end, facebook and watched movie trailers and eat and drink. it has been lyk 3-4 months since we went to his house? omg time pass damn fast. left at 5.30 'if not we will all be dead including wx's mum coz she will be charged with murder'. LOL.
